Coronavirus Infected Suvorov School In Minsk

The information has been confirmed by the Ministry of Defence.

Two students of the 1st and 5th year of the Suvorov school had positive tests for COVID-19.

The sister of one of the students of Suvorov school appealed to the tut.by editorial office and informed that the coronavirus was found in her brother's company, so the guys are asked to stay in self-isolation.

The Ministry of Defense confirmed the information. Two students of Minsk Suvorov Military School are now undergoing treatment in Minsk infectious diseases hospital. Their condition is satisfactory.

- The holidays in Suvorov school follow the same schedule as in regular schools. Everybody at the school takes their temperature every day, and after returning from home they also have a medical examination. Upon arrival from the holidays, the temperature slightly increased, - official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Natallia Haurusik, explains. - They were sent to the hospital, and tests for COVID-19 were taken there. The tests turned out to be positive.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the school promptly conducted an investigation. All level 1 contacts are already isolated. Parents of such pupils were offered, according to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, to isolate the children at home.

- An option of isolation in the sanitary part of the school is available. Most of the students were taken away by their parents, but if someone cannot do it, this option is possible, - Natallia Haurusik stresses. - All the contacts of the 1st level have also been taken a sample for testing.
