On August 10, many administrations will already go over to the side of the people.

Coordinator of the European Belarus civil campaign Dzmitry Bandarenka has stated this in an interview with the Charter97.org news website.

- You were the organizer of most of the mass actions in Belarus. Now, the action plan for August 9 and 10 is being popularized by certain Telegram channels. It is proposed to gather at the voting stations in Minsk and other cities at 8 p.m., and then by 10 p.m. go to the central squares of cities, and to the stele on Peramozhtsau Avenue in Minsk. On August 10, Belarusians are encouraged to take to the streets at 7 p.m. What do you think of this plan?

- This is a great initiative. The people are anxious about the common cause. However, I assume that the authors of this appeal have never organized any major protest action themselves. On the other hand, this appeal has spread quite widely, and needs to be supplemented for our common success.

I am convinced that residents of remote districts of Minsk and large cities need to start moving to the center at 7 p.m. In order not to contradict the authors of the appeals in the Telegram channels, I would urge Belarusians to concentrate at the voting stations of the Central District of Minsk, and those located in the centers of other cities.

In about an hour, young readers of Telegram channels, who plan to gather at the voting stations in the districts that are not located in the center, will catch up with them.

Belarusians have shown good experience of self-organization during the entire election campaign, and I am sure they will coordinate their actions on the spot, based on the situation.

- What to do on August 10?

- I think that on August 10, if the authorities dare to announce false figures that Lukashenka is already trying to voice, strikes will begin in the country at the enterprises of all forms of ownership. For the first time in 26 years, the election campaign is taking place at a time when university and high school students are beyond control and pressure of teachers.

I suppose that a significant part of the youth and strikers will take to the streets without waiting for the evening, at least to see what is happening. The authorities should not be given time to rest and regroup their forces. I think that in the regions some election commissions will announce the real winner of the presidential elections - Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya - and many administrations and military units will go over to the side of the people. And at 7 p.m. all Belarusians will take to the streets and squares to celebrate the victory.

However, it is possible that we will have to defend our choice for several days.

The plan of the European Belarus is as follows: 500 thousand people on the streets on August 9, 1 million on August 10, and 2 million on August 11.

In the regions, people should not be guided by the center, but take the initiative and power into their own hands.

- What's next?

- Our real leaders will be released and a coalition government will be formed immediately with the participation of the opposition, as well as former and current officials who are ready to act in the national interests of Belarus, and ensure a smooth transition of power.

Many political leaders and managers will return to the country from abroad. There is a consensus of both the opposition and the current elites that Lukashenka is inadequate and urgently needs to be replaced. The new Government of National Salvation will enjoy the support of the entire Belarusian people. And then, as Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya promises, the country will hold fair and free elections for a new parliament and president under the 1994 Constitution.
