Raman Bandarenka's Mother Appealed To IIHF and Fasel
Raman Bandarenka

A criminal case on the death of her son has not yet been initiated.

Alena Bandarenka, the mother of Raman Bandarenka, turned to the disciplinary committee of the International Ice Hockey Federation. The video message was published by Tribuna.

"64 days have passed since my only son, Raman Bandarenka, died. 64 days of ignoring, silence, surveillance, intimidation, leaking personal information and telephone conversations to the media," Alena says.

Raman's mother recalls that a criminal case on the fact of death has not yet been initiated, and she cannot get acquainted with the results of the check.

"During this time, numerous interviews were conducted with witnesses who kidnapped and beat my son to death right on the playground. I know there are numerous interview reports, videos, and much more evidence. But at the moment, I am no longer sure that the suspects in my son's case will appear, although the case has been taken under the personal control of Aliaksandr Lukashenka," Raman's mother says.

Alena says that she used to be sure that the crime would be solved in hot pursuit.

She commented on the organizing committee's statement for the 2021 World Hockey Championship, published following the visit of the head of IIHF Rene Fasel to Minsk. In it, the Belarusian side expresses its readiness to organize a meeting with representatives of the IIHF disciplinary committee to familiarize them with the check's results.

"I appeal to the disciplinary committee of the International Ice Hockey Federation and personally to Rene Fasel with a request to invite me and my lawyer Inesa Vitaljeuna Alenskaya to a meeting with the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Belarus. The only goal that I pursue as a mother who has lost her only son is to obtain information and, above all, to get acquainted with the results of a forensic medical examination, as I was previously promised at a meeting in the General Prosecutor's Office on November 17, 2020," Alena said.
