Beavers Destroyed Symbol Of Supporters Of Lukashenka In Vitsebsk

In Vitebsk, beavers have destroyed the young trees, which were planted by Lukashists in honor of the day of "people's unity". Only stumps are left of the "national unity," writes ej.by.

One of the residents of the regional center has filed a complaint on the 115.bel portal, stating that the trees, recently planted on the bank of the Vitsba, are broken.

It is interesting that the planting of sycamore willow seedlings in this place was carried out by representatives of the regional executive committee, the city inspectorate on natural resources and environmental protection, as well as activists of Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM) on September 17.

After the complaint was filed, an inspection was conducted and its conclusions turned out to be staggering. According to the specialists' conclusion, the damage is caused by a population of beavers living in the river bed.

As a result, Vitsebsk Zelenstroi appealed to certain competent organizations to catch beavers and move them to another area of habitation.

Beavers have indeed been seen in the Vitsba, for example, in 2019, a citizen managed to catch a rodent on video near the North Capital restaurant.
