Poland Warns Minsk of Possible Complete Border Closure with Belarus

Polish authorities are considering the possibility of a complete border closure with Belarus because of the migration crisis.

Polish government spokesman Piotr Müller announced it in an interview with Wirtualna Polska on Wednesday.

"Such a scenario is taken into account," he said when asked about the possibility of such measures.

"We direct information to the Belarusian authorities that such a threat exists if the Belarusian authorities do not cease their activities," Müller pointed out, stressing that the Polish side has not yet received any response from the Belarusian side.

At the moment, the Kuznitsa-Bruzgi border crossing is closed for traffic in connection with the migration crisis.

Let's recall that on 8 November the Lukashenka regime staged a large-scale provocation at the Polish border. Thousands of migrants under the control of Belarusian special services stormed the Polish border. The Polish side reports that up to 10 thousand illegal immigrants may take part in the next border storms.
