The Polish border service stopped illegal immigrants.

In Janow Podlaski, Lubelskie Voivodeship, four migrants tried to use a pontoon boat to cross the border by the river Bug. This was announced on Friday morning by a representative of the Pribuzhansky border detachment, Captain Dariusz Senitsky, TVP reports.

Captain Senitsky said that late Thursday evening “at the height of the border outpost in Janow Podlaski, officers and soldiers stopped four emigrants from illegally crossing the border from Belarus to Poland using a pontoon boat.”

Senitsky added that the migrants were returned to Belarus.

Since the beginning of the year, border guards have recorded more than 34 thousand attempts to illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border, of which 6 thousand in November, about 17.3 thousand in October, almost 7.7 thousand in September and more than 3.5 thousand in August.

Since September 2, in connection with the migration pressure in the border zone with Belarus, a state of emergency has been in effect in 183 settlements of the Podlaskie and Lubelskie Voivodeships. It was introduced for 30 days in accordance with the decree of President Andrzei Duda, issued at the request of the Cabinet. The Seim agreed to extend the state of emergency for another 60 days.

Important to note, on November 8 Lukashenka's regime staged a large-scale provocation on the Polish border. Thousands of migrants under the control of the Belarusian special services stormed the Polish border. The Polish side reports that up to 10 thousand illegal immigrants may take part in the next assaults of the border.

On November 15, the Belarusian military drove the illegal immigrants under escort from their camp on the border with Poland to the Bruzgi-Kuzniсa checkpoint.

On November 16, the migrants set out to storm the Polish border.
