Changes February 1 Brings

There are main changes as of today.

Naviny.by reports on the major changes that come into force on February 1, 2021.

The price of cigarettes increases.

February 1, Grodno Tobacco Factory Neman will raise the price of certain brands of cigarettes Pall Mall (price increase of 5-10 kopecks), Kent and Rothmans (price increase of 10 kopecks).

"Belarustorg increases the price of Pall Mall, Davidoff and AROMA by 5 kopecks.

Tabak-Invest, Inter Tobacco and Energo-Oil will not raise cigarette prices in February.

New brands of cigarettes will be on sale from the beginning of the month. These are Kent Crystal Silver, Sobranie Element Caster and Camel Studio Sunny Mix.

The "parasite" database will be updated

In the new month, the government will update the unified database of able-bodied citizens who are not employed in the economy.

Belarusians in the database have to reimburse one hundred per cent of the cost of water supply in their apartment or house.

Information enters the database automatically throughout the country. Each district (city) executive committee has established the commission on "parasites" that meets, as a rule, twice a month.

The 1st city hospital in Minsk gets down to its regular work

The 1st city clinical hospital of Minsk will go back to its usual work on February, 1.

Patients with COVID-19, requiring hospitalization or ICU, will be transferred to other hospitals.

At that, the hospital undergoes disinfection on January 30 and 31.

The schedule of buses in Minsk changes

Since early February, the schedule of some capital bus routes has changed.

Bus route No. 125 "Zapad-3 - shopping centre Zhdanovichi" will be closed on weekends.

Changes will also affect the schedule of buses No. 37 (weekdays), No. 89e (weekends) and No. 100 (weekdays).
