Mass "comb-out" has begun in the ranks of the special service.

The BYPOL initiative, which unites security officials who opposed the regime, reported in their Telegram-channel about the comb-out of KGB officers, who had put their signatures against Lukashenka while collecting signatures for presidential candidates in summer.

Earlier the question of the dismissal of those who signed for alternative candidates had been raised, but then, due to the time pressure and staff shortage in the background of constant protests, it did not come to extreme measures.

Pensioners suspected of disloyalty to Lukashenka's regime are also subject to combing-out.

The acting head of KGB Ivan Tsertsel has signed the list of the pensioners who are to be excluded from the military registration with KGB and put on the common list in the district military enlistment offices at the place of their registration. In addition, such pensioners are taken off the registry of the KGB polyclinic, their passes to medical institutions are cancelled and they are sent to the polyclinic at their place of residence.

Even ex-head of the KGB Uladzimir Matskevich and ex-head of the Presidential Security Service Yury Barodzich are among those deprived of privileges.

"Officers, remember that the authorities need you only as long as you can hold a gun in your hands. After that you turn into excess baggage," - BYPOL urges.

We remind you that earlier it was reported that at least 700 people from the central office of the Investigative Committee and the Interior Ministry also gave their signatures for alternative candidates.
