Record Number Of Apartments For Sale In Minsk: Prices Have Dropped Sharply

Prices of apartments have fallen by $29 per square meter in the last week. There hasn't been such a drastic fall since 2009, Nasha Niva notes.

In the seven months since the presidential election, a square meter has fallen from $1,400 to $1,255.

Now there are 14550 apartments for sale - the all-time record. A month ago there were 5,000 less apartments for sale.

If the price keeps dropping at the same rate, in a month it could be back to the 2006 level. Back then, a square meter cost $1,100.
