Ukraine's Ambassador Cut Propagandist Artsiukh Down To Size

Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus Igor Kizim has commented on the statements made by propagandist Yuliya Artsiukh in an April 2 piece on STV.

- She has already been included in the lists of "Peacemaker," I think the assessment has been given. But to lie blatantly about what I said at a rally of pro-Russian activists near the embassy a week ago is too much.

As proof, the Ukrainian ambassador to Belarus published on the social network a part of the video from the rally in front of the embassy, where, according to Yuliya Artsiukh, the diplomat, responding to the question about the tragedy that occurred in Odessa on May 2, 2014, said that "not people were burning there, but supporters of the Russian world, therefore there is no need to make a fuss".

- In fact, there was a journalist and a STV camera there, and they were reporting, but for some reason they didn't show anything to supplement her words with the facts on which she allegedly relies.

Igor Kizim asked not to speculate on the tragedy in Odessa, which happened, in his opinion, because of the Kremlin's attempts to establish a "Russian world" there.

- We will sort it out and the guilty will be punished, just like those who shot down Malaysian Boeing MH-17, who unleashed the war in eastern Ukraine, who seized the Crimea, etc. will be punished.

I understand that you have an order from your masters in Moscow, but at least once in a while maintain your reputation as a journalist, although it is difficult to apply this word to Yuliya, whom no one even knew six months ago. It's more about the channel's management.

Be Belarusians, be friends of Ukraine and be honest with yourselves. And then even the mothers of many children, who are trying so hard to prove on STV today that dictatorship is good and everything is bad in Ukraine, will not be ashamed to look into the eyes of their children explaining why they had to lie so brazenly.
