According to a household survey from the official Belstat for the first quarter of this year, most of the Belarusians' money goes to food. The second place goes to housing, the third - to transport. After that there are expenses for the Internet and communications, and after them - for utilities, writes Onliner.

The average conditional Belarusian spends the most money - 39.6% of their budget - on food.

Further, the top 5 spending categories are as follows:

- housing - 11.4%;

- transport - 8%;

- information and communication - 7.7%;

- communal services and utilities - 7.2%;

- healthcare - 6.4%.
