Belaruskali Strike Committee Released Tough Appeal To YARA Company Administration

The company is urged not to deal with the dictator.

The telegram channel of the Belaruskali Strike Committee published an appeal to the Norwegian company of YARA, which continues to cooperate with the Salihorsk enterprise, thus sponsoring Lukashenka's regime:

"The Strike Committee of JSC Belaruskali expresses its deep concern about the latest actions of the Yara company management, represented by its General Director, Mr. S.T. Holsether. At a time when the whole world has already realized what is now happening in Belarus, Mr. Holsether continues to provide active support to the fascist junta regime in our country through his contracts!

Moreover, having received, thanks to the Belaruskali Strike Committee, unprecedented gifts in the form of free advertising all over the world and having increased the value of the company's shares, this gentleman is trying to lobby for the terrorist interests and block the imposition of sanctions on potash from Belarus. Negotiating with our colleague Anatol Bakun, who has already served 100 days in prison, the company's management, under the guise of caring about the rights of the workers of our enterprise and the Code of Business Conduct, was simultaneously pumping out more discounts on fertilizers from Belaruskali.

The Strike Committee regrets that such a double-face as Svein Tore Holsether, who has no moral principles, has been chosen to hold the post of the IFA head. A man, who has trampled over his honor and fairness for the sake of profit, for the sake of money, which is steeped in the blood of miners, killed at work and political prisoners, dying in the prisons of the regime. The man who has tried to buy the strike committee and shut it up, but has only bought the "Independent Trade Union". The management of the International Fertilizer Industry Association (IFA) must also be aware of who they have elected to such a responsible position. The blood and tears of the Belarusians, who are suffering right now, are behind the success and profits of Yara and its director, and after the victory of the people over the dictator in our country, they will not be so obvious anymore.

In conclusion, the Strike Committee wants to appeal to everyone who is reading our petition - show solidarity with the people of Belarus, refuse yourselves and persuade your friends and acquaintances from using the products of the Yara company, which is supporting the bloody dictator's regime. The target audience of Yara products is not only farms and agro-industrial enterprises, but also common gardeners and vegetable growers. In fact, the Yara company is one of the largest suppliers of mineral fertilizers! The products of this company are not limited to agrochemicals only, but they also include agents for home gardening! We ask you to speak out about the problem in any way you can, whether it's just talking to a colleague or spreading the information on social media. You can organize a picket in your town or near the farms that use Yara products.

With your activity, you will attract the attention of more people to the problem of making money and raising the cost of shares by spilling the blood of Belarusians! Nowadays Yara is not only a supplier of mineral fertilizers, but also a supplier of violence and torture of hundreds of thousands of Belarusian citizens. If Yara cannot make the right choice, then we will make it!
