Belaruskali Being Pushed Out Of Chinese Market

The competitors are Russia and Canada.

Russia and Canada overtook Belarus in potassium supplies to China in the first quarter. A year ago, our country was in the lead.

This follows from Chinese customs data.

In March, potash fertilizers worth $95.7 million were imported from Belarus, which is 42.3% less than a year ago. At the same time, supplies from Canada decreased by 8.1% to $71.86 million, and from Russia increased by 66.6% to $145.43 million.

At the end of the quarter, Russia increased potassium supplies to China by almost 40% to $432.3 million, Canada by 24.6% to $313 million, and Belarus decreased by 47% to $237.6 million.
