When We Stay Home

Next comes victory, next comes the new Belarus.

When we stay at home, our phones will be ringing off the hook with threats from our bosses. So, in order not to spoil the first morning of freedom, it is better to switch off phones at all.

When we stay home, our first desire will be to open the news and read about the other plants. The official television, of course, will air another report about how stable everything is. So a nervous thought will run through our heads that we are probably the only ones who stayed at home, while the rest chickened out and went to work.

But the rest didn't chicken out. We'll find that out from telegram chats and channels. Pretty soon the whole country will realize that the factories have stopped completely. There will, of course, be the rare supporters of Lukashenka who will go for the traditional vodka-crackling, but they will be few and far between, and so they will just turn around and go home on their way to work.

When we stay home and realize the country is shut down, the first couple of hours we'll be thinking, "What's next?"

And the next thing is victory. And then New Belarus.

There must be a strike!
