Belarusian Military Officer Violated State Border Of Lithuania

Late in the evening on August 12, a man dressed in military uniform went through the demarcation strip of the Belarusian-Lithuanian border, entered the Lithuanian territory and immediately returned back. It was caught on surveillance cameras. The record was published by the Lithuanian Border Guard Service.

At the time of the incident, a patrol of the Lithuanian border guards was 100 meters away, reads the commentary to the video.

The Lithuanian side considers such behavior as "irresponsible and unprofessional". The incident was reported to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Lithuania.
