And victory will come soon.
Palina Sharenda, an activist of the European Belarus civil campaign, is called Belarusian Joan of Arc in Brest. The woman was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony. Her husband Andrei was also under investigation and was forced to go abroad from house arrest with his two children.
- My life has turned upside down this year, - says Andrei. - The events that have taken place this year are historical events. A revolution began, which is still ongoing. My wife is behind bars, and I had to leave Belarus temporarily. But the fight continues. Both I and Palina, even being there behind bars, are doing everything to bring our victory closer. And I believe that it will come soon. It is this belief in the victory that is the main thing that has happened over the past year. Despite all the challenges, there is no need to lose faith in victory, - says Andrei. - As they say, the darkest time is always before dawn. Now a dark, dark night reigns in Belarus, but I think the first rays can already be seen.
I want to wish the Belarusians not to give up and do everything to free political prisoners who are in captivity, to bring the victory closer, so that Belarus is always free. To achieve this, one just has to do their job to the end and stay positive, - Sharenda quotes Belsat.
