According to Belarusbank, interruptions in servicing bank card holders using terminal equipment in trade and service organizations, as well as in bank institutions, occurred due to failures in the work of the Banking Processing Center OJSC. The bank clarified that the failures began at 13.21, and everything was restored at 13.37.

During this time, readers reported problems with payment for goods and services with bank cards. “Again, the terminals do not work in the entire Green City shopping center,” wrote one of the readers.

Banks are obliged to inform cardholders about the impossibility of making payments with cards, as well as about the planned time frame for solving the problem. For example, in 2016, the National Bank criticized banks because they did not sufficiently inform customers about the massive failure of the terminals.
