Belarusian Political Prisoner Igor Losik Appeals to the Pope

He asks the Pontiff to stand up for the Belarusians.

Wife of political prisoner blogger Igor Losik Daria says he has written a letter to the Pope, asking "to stop these terrible people who don't care about the fate of others, about hundreds of broken families," reports Belarus Golovnogo Mozga telegram channel.

The letter of political prisoner says that hundreds and thousands of Belarusians, who faced lawlessness and injustice, fall into despair and see no way out of the situation.

"I'm not asking you to stand up for me, but I ask you to stand up for good, for the truth, for justice, for hundreds and thousands of Belarusians who are in despair.

Maybe, I am naïve, and this letter will not reach you, but I am writing it from the bottom of my heart. I believe that I am not writing it in vain. I do believe that God is on our side, that this pointless cruelty will stop, and no one else will die, and everyone will return to their families.
