Bellingcat Gives New Information About Vital Shyshou Case

Head of the Bellingcat Investigation Department Christo Grozev spoke about the investigation into the death of Vital Shyshou, Euroradio reports.

“There are parallels with another death in Belarus, there are parallels in the movements of Shyshou and an FSB officer who worked in Ukraine, but this is not enough to press charges,” Grozev said during a speech at the Mezhyhirya Fest, an investigative journalism festival that is taking place today in Kyiv.

On August 2, director of the Belarusian House in Ukraine Vital Shyshou disappeared in Kyiv. The next day he was found hanged in a park near his residence. The death of the Belarusian caused a whirlwind international reaction. But so far there have been more questions than answers.
