Buryats Steal Surveillance Cameras From Lyman, Broadcasting 'Show' Without Knowing It Themselves

The occupants who have escaped from the "mousetrap" have made a public show of themselves.

Russian occupants from Buryatia fled from Lyman in Donetsk region when the AFU arrived there. On the way, they took CCTV cameras with them. They did not reconfigure the stolen devices and simply put them in their flats. Now Ukrainian bloggers are watching online how the Buryats live.

Blogger Yan Gordienko has posted several videos of Buryats walking around their flats on his Instagram. The Buryats decided not to set up the cameras, but simply put them in a prominent place, leaving the previous owner with access to the footage.

"If my friend still has access to the camera, it means they didn't set it up, they just put it in the flat. Just for show," Gordienko said.

The bloggers now joke that it has become possible to watch "their own House-2".
