The fire engulfed an important logistic hub of the Russian army.
There is a large fire in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region. The fire was registered in the area of Brylivka, an important logistic "hub" of the Russian troops.
A Kherson telegram channel published a picture from the scene in the evening of October 12.
It is not yet known whether the fire was caused by a missile, or whether it was of a different nature. Judging by the smoke in the photo, the scale of the fire is quite significant.
Neither Ukrainian official nor Russian resources have so far made any comments on the fire in Brylivka and its possible causes and consequences.
Brylivka is an urban-type settlement in Ukraine, the Vinohradivka rural community, the Kherson district, the Kherson region. It is a major logistical hub for the occupants on their way from Crimea to the right bank of the Dnipro River.
Moreover, it is the only properly functioning railway junction in the Kherson region, because the tracks on the Antonovsky and Kakhov bridges have been blown up.
Stop talking about so-called land bridge as there is none. As you see from map there in no continuous two way railway on temporary occupied territories of mainland UA. Capacity to transfer cargo through railways on mainland in limited. pic.twitter.com/JhTE7ALboj

Earlier, experts noted that further advance of the AFU in the Beryslav direction would make the Krym-Kherson railway bridge across the North Krymsk channel near Brylivka accessible to Ukrainian artillery. A strike on this bridge would increase the logistics shoulder of the Russian railroad by almost 60 km.
There's also the Crimea-Kherson railway bridge over the North Crimean Canal at Brylivka. Hitting that bridge would push Russian railway logistics almost 60kms away. pic.twitter.com/0Euw1A92m8
