Frontline situation has changed.
A rational response will follow the missile terror of Russia, the aggressor country. Ukraine will create an anti-missile shield with the help of allies and its own military-industrial complex. The turning point in the war will be achieved on the battlefield. Today, the enemy's army suffers a split, its combat capabilities are declining.
The temporary advantage in manpower that the enemy has achieved as a result of mobilization will be successfully eliminated thanks to the work of Ukrainian artillery.
Military expert Vladislav Seleznev expressed this opinion during an exclusive interview with obozrevatel.com.
– Regarding the bombing and missile strikes. Today, Ukraine has actually faced the enemy’s missile and drone terror, our civilian infrastructure and civilian population suffer because of this. What will happen first: will Russia run out of missiles and drones or will we get reliable protection from them?
– I think we'll get help sooner. I think that the Ukrainian military-industrial complex will also show some results. The task is quite obvious: there is a problem, the missile threat, and this problem must be solved and stopped.
Without closing the skies, hoping that the enemy will run out of missiles is not a very rational approach. War is, first of all, about rational actions, movements and events. Emotions are thankless during a war. It is extremely difficult to make important decisions in a state of passion, fear or other emotional experiences.
How to solve the problem? Creation of a reliable shield that will close our sky.
– Is it worth hoping that when we have such a shield, it will actually mean a turning point in the war? Will this mean that the victory of the Ukrainian army is just around the corner?
– First of all, we must be guided by the fact that the shield, the closed sky, will allow us to secure civilians and critical energy infrastructure facilities of our country. The turning point in the war will be achieved on the battlefield.
We see how the split is gradually taking place, and how the capabilities and advantages of the Russian army are being reduced. We saw how much the situation at the front in artillery duels changed as soon as we received artillery of 155 caliber, MLRS HIMARS. Ukraine has many fewer such systems than the enemy, but they are much more effective, accurate and hit harder on the Russian occupying forces.
Now they are dealing with the sky closing case. That means that Russia will lose its air advantage. We saw a recent report that four modern Russian K-52 helicopters were destroyed in one day. That is, the air defence system works and works quite efficiently.
I think that now the enemy will try to create an advantage in manpower, taking into account mobilisation measures. But I think that this temporary advantage will also be eliminated with the help of effective artillery because we all know that 90% of Russian losses are the result of the combat operations of Ukrainian artillery.
