Powerful Blasts Rocked Kyiv

Air defence destroyed at least five enemy missiles over the Ukrainian capital.

On Wednesday, October 19, explosions thundered in Kyiv. At least three have already been heard.

The RBC-Ukraine reported.

According to the publication, Troieshchyna district residents heard the blasts on the left bank of the Dnipro river. They also heard sounds of air defences there.

The Glavred news publisher notes that the sounds of explosions are heard both in the Kyiv City center and on the left bank of the Ukrainian capital.

The information that Ukrainian defenders shot down missiles of Russian occupiers in the sky over Kyiv appeared on the Web later.

According to some reports, five Russian missiles were destroyed as a result of the effective air defence operation.

According to the mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko, air defence shot down several Russian missiles over Kyiv.

“The air raid alert is still sounding! Stay in the shelters! Air defence continues to work,” he wrote on Telegram.
