Russian Troops Launch Ten 'Shahids' From Belarusian Territory

An air alert has been announced in Ukraine.

Russian troops launched ten Shahids from the territory of Belarus. This was reported to Ukrainska Pravda by Yuriy Ignat, spokesman of the AFU air force.

An air alert has now been declared in several regions of Ukraine (including Kyiv Region).

The Shahid is an Iranian-made kamikaze drone first introduced in 2020. It has a flight range of 2,000km. The UAV is widely used by the Russians under the name of Geran-2.
