Russian Woman Forces Husband To Go To War, Becomes Widow Two Weeks Later

The wife of a 29-year-old loader used to tell him not to be a "coward".

A 29-year-old loader, Ilya Korolev, who had been mobilised a month earlier, was liquidated in the war in Ukraine. Moreover, the occupant's wife herself sent him to the war urging him not to be a coward, and two weeks later she became a widow.

The woman told the Russian publication "e1.ru" about it. According to her, the man was given a summons at the factory where he worked, reports obozrevatel.com.

The Russian woman claims that the military registration and enlistment office assured that the mobilized man would undergo training for a month, but in fact it lasted only a week.

"On the 12th (October - Ed.) they had already started military operations, and he was killed immediately. I did not expect it to happen to me, and so quickly," complained the Russian woman, who had sent the man to his death herself.

The widow said that in terms of military experience, the man had only been in military service ten years ago. He had only held a weapon three times in his life.

The occupant's funeral was attended by a representative of the military enlistment office, who said that the man died "a brave death" near the village of Ishchenko in Kherson region, where he came under heavy artillery fire.
