Ukrainian Artillerymen Destroy Latest Russian T-90AM 'Breakthrough’ Tank

The tank was blasted from the first shot.

There was confirmation that the artillerymen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed another new Russian tank T-90AM.

This is reported by the Strategic Communications Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, confirmed by a video capturing the moment of destruction of the enemy equipment.

On the video itself, you can see that first, the fighters of the Armed Forces conduct reconnaissance using a drone and find the latest Russian T-90AM tank in position, which the occupiers are trying to protect.

Immediately after that, the drone operator transmitted the coordinates to the gunners, who, in turn, accurately hit the enemy vehicles. The tank was blown up from the first shot, and then burned out.

According to preliminary information, such an accurate shot was made using Excalibur high-precision artillery shells.

The direction where this tank was destroyed has not been specified.

Important to note, the T-90AM/T-90M (Object 188AM/188M) is a modernization of the T-90A main tank. It was developed by the Ural Design Bureau of Transport Engineering in 2004. The design of the tank began in the early 2010s, and the first purchase contracts were signed in 2017-2019. The total number of such produced tanks is about 100 pieces.

This is not the first confirmation of the destruction of the latest Russian technology. So, on October 16, Yuriy Butusov, a military journalist, published a video of an elite and expensive T-90M tank of the Russian army destroyed in Ukraine, which burned down near Bakhmut, Donetsk region.
