The published footage shows that the train passing along the Crimean bridge is on fire, Glavred reports.

At the same time, the spans of the roadbed, located a little lower, collapsed. At the same time, there is no fire on this part of the bridge, but most of the collapsed spans are hidden under water, so it is not yet possible to establish the nature of the damage.

In local publics, eyewitnesses say that at about 6 in the morning there was a strong explosion on the bridge. It is clarified that as a result, windows were opened by a blast wave in nearby houses, and glass was broken.

At the same time, the invaders announced that a ferry service was being launched in the Crimea due to a fire on the Kerch bridge. The bridge is currently impassable.

Probable cause of the explosion on the Crimean bridge

According to sources, the exploded train with tanks was going along the Crimean bridge from the Krasnodar Territory to the Crimea.

It is noted that either the train itself was planted with explosives, or a car passing nearby.
