DZMITRY MEDVEDSKI

A resident of the town was sentenced to three years in a colony.

Lida District Court sentenced Dzmitry Medvedski, who was accused of "organization and preparation of actions, grossly violating public order, damage of railways and insulting Lukashenka".

This was reported by the HRC "Viasna" website.

The trial was led by Judge Natallia Loban, who was recently appointed judge of Lida district for 5 years, on September 26. Before that, she held the position of a judge in Dziatlau District Court.

Medvedski was detained on September 2, 2022, and a "repentant" video with him appeared on September 6, 2022.

According to the Lukashists' version, the man called for a strike, protests and also offered to organize sabotage on the railway.

Dzmitry was charged under three articles of the Criminal Code at the same time.

The trial lasted one day. Judge Natallia Loban found Medvedski guilty and sentenced him to three years imprisonment in a general regime colony.
