Health Issues Of Political Prisoner Ksenia Lutskina Getting Worse
KSENIA LUTSKINA

She was transferred from Minsk to the pre-trial detention center in Homel.

Aleh Lutskin, the father of political prisoner journalist Ksenia Lutskina, told Narodnaya Volya that his daughter was transferred from Minsk to the pre-trial detention center in Homel.

During her time behind bars, Ksenia's health condition worsened: bronchial asthma exacerbated, a tumor in her brain grew — in 2014, the woman underwent surgery and two tumors in her head were removed.

“Her health remains poor. The disease does not recede, therefore she has constant headaches, her arms and legs are shaking.

When she was still in Minsk in a pre-trial detention center, Ksenia was promised an additional medical examination, but the promises remained just words. They said: perhaps they will do an MRI in Homel. In a word, maybe they will, or maybe they won't...,” Aleh Lutskin said.

Former BT journalist Lutskina was sentenced to 8 years in prison back in September.
