Snow Apocalypse In Belarus

People don't know how they will go to work today.

It was snowing heavily in Belarus yesterday. Minsk municipal workers couldn't cope with it and asked citizens for help. They opened "stations for handing out shovels to the population" in the capital.

"They haven't even started yet in Kamennaya Horka, I don't know how to take the child to the kindergarten today".

"I don't know how I'll get to work today, it's all snowed in," the Charter97.org website's readers write.

We remind you that an orange danger level is announced in Belarus today. On Monday, snow and ice is expected on the roads of the country, forecasters say.

The beginning of the week will be cloudy with lightening. At night, there will be active weather: snow, sleet, rain, heavy snow and snowstorms are expected in the northern part of the country.

The air temperature at night will range from -7 to +1. Daytime temperatures will be -6 to 0.
