Cascade De-Occupation: AFU Switch To NATO Standards

The enemy is being forced to make another "goodwill gesture".

The liberation of Kharkiv and part of Kherson oblasts proves that the AFU command has abandoned the "Soviet school" of planning operations and is acting under NATO standards.

While the Russian occupation army storms settlements in eastern Ukraine, razing them to the ground and filling them with "cannon fodder," the AFU targets the enemy's ammunition depots and supply chains. This avoids unnecessary casualties and triggers the mechanism of cascading de-occupation of enemy-captured regions.

I would like to note that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation, the Ukrainian army has significantly restructured.

The overall logistical support of our Armed Forces has improved. The defense budget has increased significantly. A social elevator has been activated. Lower-level commanders who are directly involved in combat operations have the opportunity for professional growth. Everything depends on their personal and willful qualities. The war provides certain opportunities in this regard. Of course, the creation of the territorial defense brigades was the major renewal. This is a powerful factor in confronting Russian aggression and improving the general defensive capacity of our country.

I also note the qualitative growth of professional training of our soldiers. After all, they are trained not only in Ukraine but also in European countries. They master the latest military equipment and means of destruction, which are provided by NATO countries and our other strategic partners.

We have extended military-technical assistance not only in terms of rearming the AFU (military equipment, artillery, ammunition, air defense means, personal protection means, communications, field hospitals, antidrones equipment, drones etc.), but also in terms of improving the quality of life of our troops, but also in terms of improving the professionalism of our soldiers. That is, there is a qualitative rearmament of the AFU, including ground forces, and not only with samples of Western equipment but also domestic ones.

Plus, the coordination between Ukraine and partners, as well as within our Armed Forces, has significantly improved.

The Ukrainian army undergoes a powerful transition to NATO standards in operations planning (even at the tactical level, let alone operational and strategic ones). The rejection of the Soviet school, which is clearly losing to the Western one. One could see it during the de-occupation of Kharkiv and Kherson Oblasts.

It's about the cascading nature of offensive actions, when first the enemy's warehouses, headquarters, and logistical chains are destroyed, and then the offensive takes place. This reduces the number of casualties in the ranks of the offensive side, as well as among the civilian population.

We do not shell cities and people, as Russians do. We force the enemy to make another "goodwill gesture," as Russians call their retreat. Now the algorithm of AFU commanders and staffs, as well as commanders and staffs in units of NATO member states, is the same and differs significantly from that which existed in the Soviet command system and, until recently, in the Ukrainian army.

As a reminder, U.S. General Hodges stated that winter was on the side of the AFU. Therefore, Ukraine should receive sufficient support to begin the liberation of Crimea in winter. Hodges says that the Ukrainian Army will hit Russian headquarters in the temporarily occupied territories until February,. These places then will become a bridgehead for the liberation of Crimea from Russian invaders.
