Defense Express Expert: Elimination Of Lukashenka Regime Will Give Ukraine Great Power Rank

Preservation of the regime in Belarus does not suit Ukraine.

The elimination of the regime of the Belarusian dictator Aliaksandr Lukashenka would bring Ukraine to the rank of great powers capable of bringing freedom to other peoples.

Defense Express expert Ivan Kirichevsky said this on the air of Espreso.

"The elimination of the threat from the northern flank could well accelerate the liberation of other lands of the East and South of Ukraine. Imagine the prospect that, on the one hand, the Russians are again advancing from Belarus or the Belarusian army has become involved in the war, and then it turned out that this entire group is defeated and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have the prospect of moving further into the territory of Belarus in order to remove the threat to the Lukashenka regime. This, at least, would bring Ukraine to the rank of great states, capable of deciding not only their own destiny, but also bringing freedom to other peoples," he said.

According to Kirichevsky, no one wants Belarus to be drawn in, but if this happens, there will be advantages here.

"Not only is the constant threat that prevents us from creating sufficient forces to liberate the South and East will be removed, we immediately will move to the rank of great states with all the ensuing consequences. Preservation of Lukashenka's regime does not suit us either, because he has certain unhealthy ambitions, he has a fairly large missile arsenal. Roughly speaking, the demilitarization of Belarus must take place anyway. How it will happen — further circumstances will show," the expert summed up.
