Will Russia announce the ‘evacuation’ from Melitopol?

Events in occupied Melitopol begin to develop following the example of Kherson, which the Russians had to leave.

This was announced by the head of the Joint Coordinating Press Center of the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "South" Natalya Humenyuk.

According to her, the Russians acted similarly on the right bank of the Kherson region.

“They first gathered around Kherson, built (fortifications), then reported that they were leaving some settlements, then they prepared for street fighting there, then they talked about what was still not lost, then they took out valuable things from banks and other institutions,” reminded Humenyuk.

In this regard, the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not exclude that the Russian army will soon announce an “evacuation” from Melitopol.
