Lukashists Sentenced Aliaksandra Herasimenia And Aliaksandr Apeikin To 12 Years In Prison
ALIAKSANDRA HERASIMENIA

The verdict was issued in absentia.

The Belarusian court passed the first sentence in absentia against the opponents of the authorities. The co-founders of the Sport Solidarity Foundation Aliaksandra Herasimenia and Aliaksandr Apeikin received 12 years for "calling for sanctions".

Judge Sviatlana Bandarenka issued the unlawful verdict.

It was she who issued a guilty verdict to the TUT.BY journalist Katsiaryna Barysevich and the doctor of the emergency hospital Artsiom Sarokin for “disclosing a medical secret” about the health condition of Raman Bandarenka, who was killed by the Lukashists.
