Offensive On Kreminna: Conditions Created For Cascade Collapse Of Russian Defence

In recent days, the position of the Russian army on the Svatove-Kreminna front in Luhansk Region has sharply deteriorated. Conditions have been created for a new breakthrough of the front.

Military columnist Oleksandr Kovalenko writes about this on his Telegram blog.

"Kreminna is not just a gateway to Rubizhne and an actual support for the breakthrough to the agglomeration. It is a cascade collapse of the ROT defense (Russian occupation troops - ed.) when combined with the Svatove pressure. The conditions for cooking the main dish have been formed," the expert said.

He clarified that "several factors are missing" for the breakthrough. It is possible that the AFU is waiting for the weather to improve, as the impassability and soaked black earth do not allow Ukrainian armoured vehicles to move forward quickly.

Kovalenko made it clear that the main breakthrough will take place soon enough. Earlier, he clarified that in the Svatove-Kreminna area, the Russian command was slowing down the advance of the AFU with a brutal tactic of flooding the front with cannon fodder. This has continued for the past few months, which has only weakened the Russian army. "They have only reduced their own potential," the military expert clarified.
