Ukrainian Special Forces Blow Up Russian Army Airbase In Berdyansk

Three dozen explosions were heard.

On December 7, there was an emergency incident in the occupied Berdyansk in Zaporizhzhia region: a large-scale fire broke out after several powerful explosions.

The information was made public in the RIA Melitopol Telegram channel.

It is claimed that the fire broke out at an airfield located on the outskirts of Berdyansk. Explosions were heard twice: first 3 powerful explosions, then 15-20 weaker ones.

The operation was carried out owing to the efforts of AFU SOF reconnaissance personnel. For 5 days the scouts had been monitoring the airfield and had found a considerable amount of military equipment.

The fire was burning so mightily at the site of the explosions that all fire trucks of Berdyansk moved to the scene of the emergency, the report claims. Ambulances have also arrived there: it seems that there are injured and, hopefully, dead Russian army soldiers.

Meanwhile, the occupants have encircled the airfield area and are firing into the sky with anti-aircraft guns.

It should be noted that the nearest AFU positions from Berdyansk are about 100 km away.
