USA: Russia Deployed Ballistic Missiles In Belarus

This is the biggest troop mobilisation in Europe over a decade.

Russia has sent ballistic missiles, special forces, air defense forces, as well as a contingent of 5,000 troops to Belarus.

Permanent Representative of the U.S. to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, said this during the meeting of the Security Council, reports dsnews.ua.

"This is the biggest troop mobilisation in Europe over a decade. As we are discussing this, Russia continues to send troops. 2,000 railway wagons have been used to move troops to the borders with Ukraine," she said.

According to her, 5,000 Russian soldiers, special units, air defence forces and ballistic missiles have been transferred to Belarus. In addition, more than 100,000 Russian troops are already on the border with Ukraine.

"These are combat formations. Special forces ready for offensive actions against Ukraine," Thomas-Greenfield stressed.
