Ukrainian Military Destroyed Elite Unit Of ''Kadyrovtsy'' And Commander Tushayev

A fighter of the regiment who was taken prisoner confirmed the elimination of commander Tushayev to the military.

The Ukrainian army smashed a column of the 141st motorized regiment of the Chechen Republic and liquidated its commander Magomed Tushayev near Gostomel in the Kiev oblast, Interfax-Ukraine reports with reference to the Ukrainian Defence Ministry.

The liquidation of Tushayev was confirmed to the military by a regiment soldier who had been taken prisoner.

"The Ukrainian National Guard and the Alfa special unit are now dealing with the rest of them with small arms," the defence ministry specified.

The unit is considered super-elite in Chechnya.
