Ukraine's Defence Minister: There Has Been Real Turning Point

The war has become European.

Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov believes that yesterday was an important day for Ukraine in the military confrontation with Russia, gordonua.com reports.

"Yesterday there was a real turning point. The war has become European. It has finally been realised. Half of Europe is already collecting, packing, bringing us weapons and armour protection equipment. The circle of countries providing real assistance has grown considerably. Its scale has increased," Reznikov wrote on Facebook in the morning of February 28.

He reminded that Ukrainians have been resisting the Russian army for 96 hours.

"Four days of victory, courage, selflessness and faith. A time of admiration at fellow citizens holding the line side by side, of pain for those who gave their lives for Ukraine, of anger at the enemy killing our women and children, destroying peaceful cities, and confidence that he will be punished! He will definitely be punished! Severely, inevitably," the minister is convinced.

Reznikov noted that Ukraine feels the support from different countries.

"Europe has already granted temporary asylum to tens of thousands of those we want to save the most - our babies and their mothers. Without any formalities. As if they were their own. Right now we have no border in the west. But we have support in the south, in the Far East and across the Atlantic. All this is a merit of the defenders of the Ukrainian people, who have refused to obey the horn-mad tyrant and who will definitely win. Ukraine will win! Glory to Ukraine!" the minister wrote.
