NTV Host Left Russia and Resigned

Lilia Gildeeva used to work for TV channels in Tatarstan.

NTV host Lilia Gildeeva, who has worked for the TV channel since 2006, left Russia and wrote a letter of resignation from abroad, idelreal.org reports.

"I left at first, I was afraid they wouldn't let me leave, then I wrote a statement," she told @varlamov_news. On NTV, Gildeeva hosted the Segodnya programme.

Lilia Gildeeva was born in Zainsk, Tatarstan, studied in Kazan and worked for various Tatarstan TV channels.
