Konotop Mayor Tells Russian Commanders To 'Go **ck Themselves', Residents Drive Enemy Equipment Out Of City

The population is preparing Molotov cocktails and weapons to repel a new enemy offensive.
In Konotop, Russian heavy equipment gathered near the city council. The enemy commanders went to negotiate with the mayor of Konotop so that he would surrender the city. People cordoned off the equipment of the Russians. It turned out impossible to reach an agreement with the mayor. The Russian military have been driven out of the city by the locals.
This was announced by the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Herashchenko.
Artem Semenikhin, mayor of Konotop, said:
"The Russians came to us and told me to give the city under their control. I said "Go **ck yourself! You are the invaders." And they were like: "We are not invaders. We have a special operation. Let's cooperate. Buryn is cooperating." I say: we will not cooperate. They are coming to us at 12.00. We are preparing Molotov cocktails, weapons and we will fight."
