Ukraine's Ministry Of Health Bans Belarusian Medicines

The list includes 39 items.

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine since yesterday terminated the registration of 39 medicines from Belarus. The list includes manufacturers or applicants whose legal address is in Belarus.

The list includes such drugs as Acyclovir-Belmed, Arpeflu, Noxivin, Mukasat and others.

"The medicines on the list, already imported and put into circulation on the territory of Ukraine, can be sold and used in Ukraine before their expiration date," the Ukrainian Ministry of Health noted. "All Belarusian factories, whose products were presented in Ukraine, produced generics, that is, non-original drugs.

"Original medicines are produced by Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies, so the rejection of Belarusian drugs does not pose any threat or harm to providing Ukrainians with medicine," the ministry said in a statement.
