Belarus Resumes Accepting Documents for Apostille

A line was immediately formed in Minsk.

March 21, Consular General Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs resumed receiving documents for apostille. The institution immediately drew a line, writes zerkalo.io.

Regions also intend to resume registration for apostille. For example, in the Hrodna region from March 22. Earlier, documents could not be submitted from 10 March.

The journalists called the main justice department of Minsk city executive committee as a private person to find out more. The department says there had indeed been a suspension, but now everything is in order - documents are accepted from 9.00 to 11.00 every working day.

One can have documents apostilled in Minsk at the Main Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at 37, Karla Marksa Street, as well as in the head department of justice of Minsk city executive committee and regional executive committees.

The regions also plan to resume accepting documents for apostille. For example, the Main Department of Justice of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee reports they intend to start processing apostilles again from 22 March.
