Did the illness "manifest itself" after a tough talk with Putin?
The reason why Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu disappeared from public space has become known.
He had a heart attack, Anton Herashchenko, an adviser to the Interior Minister, told his Telegram channel.
According to him, the illness is the reason Shoigu has not been seen in public since mid-March.
"Shoigu had a heart attack after a tough accusation from Putin for completely failing the invasion of Ukraine. He is now undergoing rehabilitation at the Burdenko Military Clinical Hospital," Herashchenko said.
We remind, earlier the media noticed that Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu had not appeared in public for 12 days in a row. The last time he appeared in public space was on March 11.
Shoigu appeared in Russian news on March 11 when he met his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akmar. On the same day, the Russian Defence Ministry said that the defence minister of the aggressor country visited the Mandryk Central Military Clinical Hospital, where he presented awards to Russian occupants for their participation in the war in Ukraine.
