IAEA: Fire At Zaporizhzhia NPP Has Not Affected 'Essential' Equipment

Ukrainian authorities are taking measures to eliminate the consequences.
Ukrainian authorities have informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that "the fire at the Zaporizhzhia NPP site did not affect "essential" equipment." The organization has posted the relevant messages on Twitter, zn.ua reported.
"Ukraine informs the IAEA that the fire at the Zaporizhzhya NPP site did not affect the "essential" equipment, plant personnel are taking measures to mitigate the consequences... No changes in radiation levels at the Zaporizhzhia NPP site have been reported," the reports said.
We remind you that the UK insists on an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council in the nearest future in connection with the situation around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
