Russian Soldiers Start Deserting Even On Their Way To Ukraine

The special services of the Russian Federation can do nothing about it.

Desertion among the invaders is becoming massive — the occupiers-to-be are fleeing the army even on the way to Ukraine.

A captured Russian technician told the SBU about this. His main task was to remove faulty Russian military vehicles from Ukrainian territory, writes unian.net.

He made several trips from the Crimea to the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions and saw the scale of desertion.

“Many run away even during the journey, no one says anything to anyone. Even the armed forces are against this. They threaten us with 7 years in prison and this is the only thing that prevents us from fleeing,” the prisoner admits.

According to him, even the Russian FSB, whose officers are attached to each battalion-tactical reconnaissance group, is powerless: “They simply withdrew themselves. They don’t give specific tasks, they just talk about something on an individual basis.”
