Sanctions were also imposed against the Kremlin.

South Korea imposes new sanctions against the authorities of Russia and Belarus. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country, operations with seven large Russian banks are suspended, a restriction on trade in Russian government bonds has been issued, and it's also mentioned that banks will be disconnected from the swift system.

On February 28, the Korean government decided to apply export control measures against Russia to peacefully resolve the military conflict in Ukraine. And on March 6, Korea decided to impose similar measures on Belarus, which helps Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
