Independent Trade Union Representatives Detained In Belarus

Some of them are kept in the KGB detention center.

14 representatives of independent trade unions are not getting in touch, reports Salidarnasts.

According to preliminary data as of 10:30, they are Yana Malash, Vital Chychmarou, Hanna Dus, Aliaksandr Bukhvostau, Vasil Beresneu, Hennadz Fiadynich, Dzmitry Barodka, Aliaksandr Yarashuk, Siarhei Antusevich, Mikola Sharakh, Iryna But-Husaim, Mikhail Hromau, Vadzim Payvin and Yury Beliakou.

These are the leaders and activists of the Belarusian Congress of Democratic Trade Unions and its member trade unions Free Metalworkers' Union, Free Belarusian Trade Union and REP Trade Union.

Siarhei Antusevich managed to call his wife and informed her that he was in the KGB pre-trial detention facility.
