Rocket Attack On Kyiv: Occupiers Hit Residential Building

There are casualties as a result of yesterday's missile strikes on Kyiv. At least three people have been sent to hospital.

Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko says this.

Interior Minister's advisor Anton Gerashchenko said that cruise missiles hit the residential building in Kyiv from the territory of occupied Crimea.

"At 8:13pm on April 28, the State Emergencies Service in Kyiv received a report about a fire in Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital. As a result of enemy shelling, a fire broke out in a 25-storey apartment building with partial destruction of the 1st and 2nd floors," the State Emergency Service reported.

At 21:25, the fire was extinguished on a total area of 100 sq.m. Search and rescue operations are being carried out at the site.

According to preliminary data, 5 people have been rescued, 10 injured. The information is being specified.

12 firefighting vehicles and 98 people from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were involved in the elimination of the consequences.
