Russian soldiers have raped a 20-year-old student in the Belarusian town of Mazyr, which is near the border with Ukraine. According to the girl, the soldiers were drunk and threatened with violence if the victim would tell anyone what had happened, reports Glavred.
The Vertical telegram channel has published an audio conversation with the Russian victim.
According to the girl, she was returning home from a pizzeria in the evening after meeting with friends. A military truck stopped in front of her. There were three Russian soldiers inside. They offered to get acquainted with the girl. When the student refused, they forced her into the vehicle.
"They said if I shout, they would kill me. I didn't know where they were taking me, because the whole way they were holding me by my hair with my head down," said the rape victim.
"You didn't want to get acquainted nicely, you will get it badly," the soldiers told her.
After the rape, they took their victim's money and earrings and threw her out of the car. They left her the phone because it was old and had a broken screen.
The student says she did not go to the Belarusian police because she is afraid of revenge.
"They saw my student ID and said that if I complained to anyone, they would find me and kill me. There were three of them. One of them had a machine gun," the girl added.
She also said that there had been rumours about rapes of local girls by Russian servicemen in the town, but no one had dealt with these crimes.
